Being Unconditionally Dedicated to the Development of our Youth or B.U.D.D.Y, is a community-based coaching program that pairs youth/young adults with a volunteer mentor to facilitate effective growth and development. One-on-one time can focus on a particular area of concern or encompass all life domains. Mentees also get to attend group events with other mentees and mentors to participate in shared learning opportunities.

BUDDY aims to positively impact the life trajectory of vulnerable young people while establishing lasting, meaningful connections with trusted adults. With that in mind, we are careful to select individuals who demonstrate a sincere commitment to helping young people create the extraordinary lives they deserve. Mentors are required to go through an extensive interview process including a background check and receive initial and ongoing mentor training and support.
